I have to be honest, I've had these for a while, a long while. I haven't been able to part with them until now, so hurry before I change my mind!
Today's shop update is bunch of covetable vintage designer pieces! In the mix are two designer skirts - one Chanel & the other a Christian Lacroix piece. I can't say I like one more than the other, they're both pretty amazing but don't fit me (sadly). Also, a briefcase by Céline & a pebbled green one by Toscano. And a vintage Balenciaga wallet.
(I must be mad, because I love these pieces.)

Last weekend was too much fun.
It started on Friday night with a Dinner & Dance at CHIJMES.
Five Stones Vintage sponsored vintage dresses for the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication & Information Orientation Dinner and I was invited to the lovely retro-themed event! Check out the pageant contestants decked out in our vintage pieces for their photoshoot here.
This pretty 1950's Mindy Ross dress was my outfit for the night and by some stroke of luck I got to be a judge for the pageant. Lots of singing, dancing & fun all around!
Then came the weekend, our very first flea!
It was so good to finally meet some of my loyal customers in person, chat with fellow vintage lovers, and see lots of shoppers all dressed up in vintage. Hello, lady-in-the-neon-pink-dayglo-jumpsuit! :)
I even came home with a few beautiful pieces by I Spot A Potter - my booth-neighbour for the weekend. Please check out their page & support handmade in Singapore!

As it turns out, this is shaping up to be my favourite shop update thus far!
(Although this is a very close second.)
As seen on many a stylish individual, the tried & true military style for fall never gets old.
What I love is the unisex, cuts & perfect workwear textures - stiff cotton twill, navy wool, military canvas & worn in denim.
Not quite sure why I'm parting with my favourite pieces?!
